How do I make a reservation at COB?

Reservations for COB are obtained through our website for or by telephone. The details for this are available on our Reservations page.

What happens if I need to make changes to my reservation?

In case you would like to change something regarding your reservation we kindly ask you to do so in time. For any changes regarding the dietary restriction and allergies, we kindly ask you to let us know at least two days before your reservation.

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel your reservation free of charge at least one day in advance by email or telephone. Any cancellation after that period will be subject to our cancellation procedure. The cancellation is free of charge if we are able to take another reservation for your table. If we do not take another reservation for your table, we will have to charge you the cancellation fee (50% of the menu price).

What are the opening and closing times of the Restaurant?

We are open for dinner from 18:30 every week from Monday until Sunday. We do recommend you allow two to four hours to enjoy your COB experience.

For private experiences, the restaurant is open on demand, based on the previous request.

Can I enjoy a drink at COB before my meal?

No, unfortunately not. Because space is limited, we do not have a bar. However, our 4* hotel Tomi, which is just a few steps away, is available for drinks before or after your visit.

Do you offer wine pairings?

We do offer wine pairings with all the menus and the pairing is focused on Slovenian wines. We also have an extensive wine list based on Slovenian wines, but not limited to them.

What is the dress code?

COB has a very relaxed atmosphere and we want our guests to enjoy the experience as comfortable as possible so for that regard we do not have a dress code policy at the restaurant.

How much does the dinner cost?

Your COB experience price is based on the selected menu. The prices range from 75€ to 120€ per person (including VAT), food only. Drinks and extras are in addition to this.

Do you have an alternative tasting menu?

We do not have an alternative tasting menu, and it is the same experience dinner each day the restaurant is open. We do however offer a shorter experience menu (a taste of COB) with selected dishes.

Are children allowed in the restaurant?

Children are always welcome in the restaurant, but please note since space is limited we do not always have the floor space to accommodate pushchairs or prams. If your child needs a baby chair, please inform us about it when making the reservation, so we can prepare the table accordingly. We kindly ask you to take care your child does not disturb other guests

Do you have a children’s menu?

We do also have a special children’s menu available at the restaurant. Our chefs will serve our youngest guests with fun and interactive snacks and small dishes.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

We can usually cater for most health or allergy related dietary requests with prior notice. We will do our best to adapt experience according to each individual guest’s dietary requirements. We would ask that you advise our team of any dietary requests when making the reservation, so advance notice can be given to the kitchen. If we are not informed about your restrictions in time, we may not be able to adjust your menu.

Can I smoke in the restaurant?

Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not allowed in the dining area.

Are there car-parking facilities?

Yes, we have a car park available next to the restaurant.

How many people can be accommodated?

In COB, there are 2 dining areas that can accommodate up to 32 people with tables suitable for 2 to maximum 8 people. Your table may be located either in one or in the other dining area. If you have any special wishes regarding the location of your table, please let us know.

What happens if I am late for dinner?

We kindly ask you to come for dinner at agreed time. In case you are late for more than half we will be obliged to shorten your menu, charging the same price.
